Cornerstone of Protein Research
Western blotting (WB) is a cornerstone technique in biological research, essential for detecting and quantifying specific proteins in complex samples. It reveals protein expression, modifications, and interactions, critical for understanding cellular processes and biological pathways.
WB allows researchers to assess protein levels under varying conditions, identifying key regulators of biological pathways and their contributions to cellular function or dysfunction. Western blotting validates findings from high-throughput techniques and its specificity and sensitivity make it a gold standard for protein analysis.
Serving as a bridge between molecular biology and functional studies, western blotting helps elucidate protein roles within networks governing life processes, making it indispensable for advancing biological understanding and therapeutic strategies.

Protein Electrophoresis
Our supplier has been manufacturer of SDS-PAGE electrophoresis tanks since 2015. It's portfolio covers power packs, gel tanks, casting racks and various accessories to complement this methodology. Routine reagent for casting protein gels such as acrylamide, Bradford reagent, Tris-glycine buffer and protein ladders

Protein Transfer
Protein Wet Transfer immerses gel-membrane in a tank with buffer. It is ideal for a broad protein range, high sensitivity and good for quantitative analysis

Protein Semi-Dry Transfer uses buffer-soaked filter paper between electrodes. While it is much faster and reagent effective, it is less effective for very small/large proteins, not ideal for quantitative analysis
